Check Bubble's current status
SEPTEMBER 9, 2026
Features
Faster, smarter AI by default
Bubble's AI now runs on Claude's latest model (Sonnet 5) across the editor, so building workflows, editing data schemas, and generating components all get faster and more accurate, with nothing new for you to set up.
App planning sessions
Before your app gets built, Bubble now asks clarifying questions about key decisions, acting like a partner as you think things through. You can add context, refine details, or upload images, so the generated app is closer to what you had in mind from the start.
Animations in generated apps
AI-generated apps now include animations and transitions out of the box, giving them a more polished, dynamic feel without any extra setup on your end.
Mobile app gen visual polish
AI-generated mobile apps now use a standardized spacing grid and more reusable styles, giving them a cleaner, more consistent look from the start.
AI-assisted API Connector edits
We improved how the Agent edits your app's API Connector calls, so AI-assisted changes to your API integrations are more accurate and reliable.
Server-side issue checker accuracy
We improved the server-side issue checker so it flags fewer incorrect warnings, helping you focus on real problems in your app instead of noise.
Mobile build status visibility
The editor now shows a Building pop-up while your dev build is still in progress, so you're not left wondering if something went wrong while you wait.
File manager exact search
You can now search for a file by its exact name instead of scrolling through partial matches, making it faster to find what you need in large file libraries.
Server-side issue checker (experimental feature)
Results now show which branch they were run on alongside the last run time, so you know which branch the results apply to.
Bug fixes
Agent edit reliability
We fixed a range of issues in how the Agent plans and applies edits, so your edits apply more accurately and completely.
Agent-created privacy rules
We fixed a bug where privacy rules created by the Agent could reference the wrong field when restricting access by record creator, which could leave data hidden from everyone or exposed to everyone. Access is now restricted to the record's creator as intended.
Plan approval crash
We fixed a bug where approving an Agent's plan and then clicking approve again could trigger a "something went wrong" error with no way to recover. Approving a plan twice no longer breaks your session, and your in-progress edits are preserved.
Mobile app gen fixes
We fixed a range of issues in mobile app generation, including empty values in option fields, lists fetching data with the wrong operator, navigation workflows missing a required parameter, mobile view parameters not applying correctly, and layout and data errors.
Broken support link
We fixed a bug where the Agent could share a broken support center link, so you can now reliably reach Bubble support from the Agent.
Plugin reliability
We fixed a bug where a single broken plugin could make your whole editor unusable, keeping the plugins tab accessible so you can remove it and get back to building. We also fixed a separate bug where plugin code could randomly revert to an earlier version or disappear within days of being written, so your plugin work stays as you left it.
Editor stability and performance
We fixed a memory leak where repeatedly selecting elements left background processes running, slowing things down in large apps over time. We also fixed a bug where typing in a pinned property editor field would freeze, lag, or revert characters on large apps.
Editor UI fixes
We fixed a blank pop-up that appeared when adjusting the Map centered on value in a conditional for map elements using a list of markers, and a bug that caused some apps to go missing from your projects tab.
Search and data accuracy
We fixed a bug where a list of option set values could evaluate to empty in a repeating group search constraint even when the debugger showed results, and a separate bug where watched searches with certain filter values (numbers, toggles, or lists with empty entries) silently returned no results.
File manager search
Searching by file name or file type (like "mp4") no longer returns no results or stale matches from a previous search.
Mobile app stability
We fixed a crash that could get apps stuck in a rendering loop, especially on Android, a sporadic No Apps error when the mobile editor loaded before your apps were ready, and a bug where button elements weren't displaying on certain iOS devices.
Android OTA updates
We fixed a bug where Android apps were ignoring over-the-air updates and running the original store bundle instead. Your OTA fixes and changes now reach Android users as intended, without a full store rebuild.
Mobile workflow fixes
We fixed a bug where Send push notifications  actions in backend workflows couldn't resolve Overlay elements, which was causing incorrect issue checker warnings and dropdowns that appeared empty or reset on refresh. We also fixed a bug where Create a new thing failed with a permission error when it ran right after Open camera,  even with no privacy rules blocking it.
Mobile input and link fixes
We fixed a bug in BubbleGo where vertical lists with reverse scroll enabled would snap back to the bottom, so you can scroll up to see older entries in chats and activity feeds. Inputs used as live filters no longer lose focus or dismiss the keyboard as a list refreshes on Android, and the 's link operator no longer generates an incorrect versioned URL in published native apps.
Billing page fix
We fixed a bug where the plans page under invoices page could appear completely blank for a short period of time, and a bug where changing a user's email through a workflow action didn't update the record's modified date.

Features
More capable AI edits
The Bubble AI Agent can now revisit and refine data schemas, workflows, and UI components, and make independent edits in parallel. This helps complex, multi-step build requests complete with fewer errors and less back-and-forth.
Reference images in AI prompts
The Agent now uses images you include in your prompts more effectively when generating UI, so results better match the visual style and layout you're going for.
AI chat interface refresh
We refreshed the look of the AI chat interface for a cleaner, more polished experience.
Mobile dev builds
You can now test your app with a dev build that mimics how it runs natively on a phone, including plugins with third-party libraries, deep linking, and push notifications.
Android keystore generation
We launched automatic Android keystore generation for all users, so you can build and publish Android apps without manual setup.
iOS image performance
We improved how iOS apps decode and resize images, including SVGs, off the main thread. Your app should feel smoother on screens with large or complex images.
Option sets table redesign
We redesigned the option sets table into a clear, structured view with pinnable columns, show/hide controls, and a streamlined delete and recovery flow, making it easier to manage your options at a glance.
Server-side issue checker visibility
Server-side issues now show up directly in the editor's Issue Checker, so you can catch problems as they're detected without opening browser dev tools.
Editor and app performance on large apps
We sped up how the editor handles derived calculations, page-load evaluations, merge conflict windows, and made the issue checker faster and more accurate on large apps, and improved memory handling when switching branches. Building and reviewing bigger apps should feel noticeably faster.
Dedicated app cache improvements
We improved how cache resources are allocated for dedicated apps, including giving new and existing instances their own separate caches, so your app can handle peak traffic more reliably.
Large app merges
We dug into what's slowing down merges and saves on large-scale apps, pinpointing where slowdowns and errors happen at scale. This groundwork sets up faster, more reliable merging for large apps.
Editor and Agent speed
We investigated performance bottlenecks between the editor and the Agent, finding where repeated database calls were adding delay. This lays the groundwork for a faster editor and Agent going forward.
Better performance monitoring
We improved how we track editor performance data so it's tied to the specific app you're working in. This helps our team diagnose and fix editor performance issues faster, so you experience a more stable and responsive editor.
Bug fixes
AI generated app reliability
We fixed a wide range of issues in AI app generation, including broken custom state logic, incorrect data type handling, poor color contrast, inconsistent logo sizing, empty mobile views, and blank or missing data on generated pages, along with workflow actions that silently failed to apply.
AI issue detection
We fixed a bug where the Agent failed to identify certain issue types in the Issue Checker.
AI data schema editing
We fixed a bug where adding new data types through the Agent could generate invalid field definitions, causing valid instructions to get rejected.
AI editing reliability
We fixed several issues in how the Agent applies edits to your app, including edits that reported success without actually saving, repeated failed-edit loops, page navigation and content type errors, and stale values left behind after replacing properties.
AI Agent context retrieval
We fixed a bug where the Agent could lose context partway through a conversation, so your edits stay on track.
Editor drag-and-drop into hidden groups
We fixed a bug where dragging a new element into a hidden group for the first time after a page load could freeze the canvas and Elements Tree until you reloaded.
Workflow editor popover
We fixed a bug where the Loading actions popover would appear randomly in the workflow editor and require a refresh to dismiss.
Current date/time expressions
We fixed a bug where global expressions using Current date/time returned incorrect values in run mode on web and mobile.
Custom event workflow errors
We fixed a bug where a frontend custom event that triggered a backend custom event evaluating to false would throw an unexpected error instead of completing the workflow.
Duplicate issue checker warnings
We fixed a bug where the Issue Checker showed duplicate same name for more than one endpoint warnings for a single backend workflow.
Native mobile fixes
We fixed floating groups with Move with keyboard enabled getting cut off by the keyboard on Android 15, pages failing to scroll when swiping over a non-interactive map, and the Page is loaded entirely condition always returning "no" on the root view.
Database search performance
We fixed bugs that could trigger unexpected search spikes from repeating groups, cause searches to loop indefinitely on stale or deleted results, and leave certain queries, such as CSV exports, missing indexes and timing out.
Post-upgrade performance
We fixed a bug where upgrading your app version could spike CPU usage during normal load.
Domain release on deleted apps
We fixed a bug where custom domains stayed linked to deleted or downgraded apps, blocking you from reassigning them.
Branch merge reliability
We fixed several merge bugs, including changes from Main appearing as your own edits, edits to reordered lists (like sort fields or reusable element properties) getting silently dropped, a logic error that could leave gaps in your app's structure after a merge, and conflict, not-ready, and loading errors during merges on large apps.
AUGUST 12, 2026
Features
Bubble AI Agent welcome screen
When you open a freshly generated app or start a new conversation, the Agent now shows a Welcome screen with quick actions to add features, take a guided tour, or fix flagged issues, so you always know what to do next.
Agent approval modes
Choose how closely you want to review the Agent's edits, with three modes: Always Ask, Auto, and Always Approve. Pick the oversight level that fits your needs for a given task.
AI-generated API Connector setup
Describe the integration you need in plain language, and the Agent will generate a new API Connector call for you, skipping the manual field-by-field setup.
Agent conditional and style edits
Ask the Agent to read and edit your element conditionals directly in plain language, including adding, updating, removing, and reordering the logic. We also improved how well the Agent applies conditional styling, like hover states, login-based visibility, and selection highlights.
Sign in with Apple
Bubble mobile apps now support native Sign in with Apple on iOS, so you can offer Apple authentication alongside your other social login options and stay compliant with App Store guidelines.
Universal linking
Mobile apps can now use universal links that open directly to a specific page or piece of content instead of routing through a browser first, making for a smoother experience when people tap a link from a notification, email, or shared URL.
Android app signing options
Choose between Bubble-managed signing, now the default, or uploading your own keystore when publishing to the Play Store. Bubble handles signing automatically if you'd rather not manage it yourself.
Sandbox in-app purchase testing
Test mode now supports real sandbox purchases from Apple and Google, so you can test your in-app purchase flows accurately before going live.
Smarter plugin recommendations
The Agent now prioritizes Bubble-built and certified plugins, prefers a built-in element when one already covers your need, matches plugin searches even when the name doesn't match exactly, and only suggests plugins compatible with your app's platform.
Newest responsive engine for generated apps
Apps built with AI app generation now start on Bubble's latest responsive engine, so they launch with current layout and styling capabilities already in place.
New expression options
We added a :converted to date operator for turning text into a proper date, plus a formatted as operator for booleans, so you can display true/false values the way you want without a workaround.
Toggle items in list operations
Data actions now support a toggle item option, so you can add or remove an item from a list in one step depending on whether it's already there.
Search style variables
The app search tool now finds style variables, making it easier to locate and update them across your app.
Static options for reusable parameters
Reusable element parameters can now have a fixed list of allowed values that appear as a dropdown everywhere the reusable is used, including in conditionals and the expression composer. This helps you and your collaborators stick to valid values instead of typing them freehand.
Separator styling in conditionals
You can now change separator styling from within a conditional, giving you more control over how your app adapts across different states.
Hyperlink formatting
We added a new Format as option for hyperlinks, making it easier to display and style linked text in your app.
Cleaner mobile element list
The mobile editor now filters out web-only elements, so you only see components that are relevant to mobile.
Bug fixes
Agent conversation reliability
We fixed a series of bugs that could cause Agent conversations to fail, stall, or get stuck, making it a more consistent building partner.
AI-generated app quality
We fixed a range of issues affecting the visual quality and functionality of AI-generated apps and components.
Plugin editor fixes
We fixed a bug where API call parameters were incorrectly set to Private, which could cause field mappings, body parameters, and response headers to go missing from workflows. We also fixed a bug where changing a response field's data type could break existing API expressions in your app.
Editor UI fixes
We cleaned up a batch of property editor issues, including a border style dropdown that wasn't showing overridden styling, button border colors that rendered incorrectly, an expression composer dropdown that turned partially transparent on hover, long text that hid the scrollbar, the Algolia search UI showing an outdated editor, and a missing icon option on link element styles. We also restored the Gap Spacing and Separator options for List styles in the Global tab, hid the Properties panel when it has nothing to show, and fixed slow-loading plugin elements when the debugger is on along with text that wasn't vertically centered in fill-height or fixed-height elements.
Workflow debug logs
We fixed a bug where Zoom on this workflow could shift the visible time window and make it look like no server logs were returned.
Import application access
Non-admin collaborators can once again use the Import application tool without running into an error.
Merge conflict accuracy
We fixed a bug where certain settings changes, like the run mode password, were mislabeled as Moved instead of Changed differently in merge conflict descriptions.
Mobile OTA update reliability
We fixed a few issues that could make over-the-air updates unreliable, including an offline banner that blocked login after an update, OTA updates failing due to plugin dependency conflicts, and recursively scheduled workflows that silently canceled after an update.
Mobile in-app purchase fixes
We fixed a bug where the Google Play setup button created a Pub/Sub topic but not the subscription it needed, and a bug where IAP subscriptions always showed up on your live branch regardless of which branch you were working in.
Mobile visual fixes
We fixed several rendering issues on mobile, including fill-height groups collapsing on scrollable pages, background images not showing depending on your styling settings, missing box shadows on horizontal list items and short lists, and bottom-aligned elements overlapping the Android navigation bar on some devices. We also fixed excess margin on the native iOS date/time picker.
Mobile navigation and data display
We fixed a bug where closing one sheet kept other sheets hidden, so returning from a sheet now brings the previous one back into view. We also fixed section list headers that weren't populating expressions correctly.
Mobile authentication and deep linking
We fixed a bug where authenticated sessions in production redirected to bubble.io instead of staying in your app, and a bug where files at paths like /.well-known/apple-app-site-association returned 404 errors, which was breaking deep link verification and Google sign-in. We also fixed iOS permission prompts showing your app's default language instead of the device's language.
Mobile pickers and text formatting
We fixed the date/time picker not showing AM/PM in 12-hour format when not in focus, custom line spacing not applying to multiline inputs, and reusable element states not updating correctly on non-root views.
Android-specific fixes
We fixed the convert to list operation not working on Android, an unresponsive login button in BubbleGo v1.20.1, and a memory crash in BubbleGo when filtering large API call results.
JULY 29, 2026
Features
AI Agent custom states
The AI Agent can now create, edit, and delete custom states, so it no longer sets up actions that reference states that don't exist.
AI Agent API management
The AI Agent can now update and delete API calls and collections through natural language, including placing shared headers like authorization or content type at the collection level instead of repeating them on every call.
AI Agent plugin management
The AI Agent can now install free or already-purchased plugins on your behalf, walking you through any conflicts or warnings, and guide you through uninstalling plugins safely.
AI Agent page generation
The page generator button in the editor now opens the AI Agent with a prefilled prompt instead of the legacy template generator, making it easier to create pages by describing what you want built.
AI Agent for mobile and backend workflows
AI-powered generation is now available for mobile app and backend workflows, not just frontend web.
AI Agent platform awareness
The AI Agent now better recognizes whether your app is built for web, mobile, or both, so its guidance matches your platform.
App gen reliability
App gen now uses the AI Agent's own tools during generation and resolves relevant stock images automatically. Generated apps are more capable and functional right from initial generation, and should have fewer broken dropdowns, half-wired workflow actions, or blank preview pages.
Global expressions organization
We updated the global expressions experience with a clearer empty state, folder management from within a single expression, a right-click context menu for actions like rename, duplicate, and move to folder, and general visual updates.
New expression operators
We added a :toggle item operator to add or remove a list item in one step, and expanded the :defaulting to operator to work with more data types.
Mobile list snap behavior
Horizontal and vertical mobile lists now support snap settings: free scrolling, item-by-item snapping, or full-screen page mode.
Responsive page defaults
New pages now default to a responsive layout when your current page is responsive, instead of resetting to fixed.
Mixpanel EU endpoint
The Mixpanel plugin now includes an EU endpoint option, so you can send data to Mixpanel's EU servers directly.
Property editor visual updates
We updated the dark mode canvas background to gray and clarified several field labels for readability.
Bug fixes
AI Agent execution control
We fixed a bug where stopping an in-progress AI Agent plan would return you to the approval prompt, and clicking Cancel would apply the plan instead of ending it. Stopping an agent mid-execution now ends the turn as expected.
AI Agent privacy rules
We fixed a bug where approving AI Agent privacy rule changes could cause custom data types to disappear.
OAuth refresh tokens
We fixed a bug where refresh tokens weren't being used to renew expired access tokens in OAuth2 flows, which was causing API calls to fail after the initial token expired.
API Connector reliability
We fixed several bugs where reinitializing an API call or adding a new field could break existing fields, nested List of Objects data, repeating groups, and elements using that call as a Type of Content.
Property editor stability
We fixed a range of issues in the new property editor, including the panel collapsing unexpectedly, a missing rich text editor on plugin action fields, dropdowns rendering behind other elements in Safari, false validation errors on optional fields, style resets not applying reliably, Values to send not accepting unique keys, Reveal in elements tree missing from the context menu, undo not working when deleting a custom event return value, and unstyled animation text.
Server log scroll position
We fixed a bug where the scroll position in server logs reset to the top whenever you navigated away and back, so your place is now preserved across the Logs and Scheduler tabs.
Secret scanner false positives
We fixed a bug where valid Google Maps API keys were incorrectly flagged as security warnings.
Sign in with Bubble button
We fixed a bug where the Sign in with Bubble button linked to BubbleGo instead of the intended destination.
Mobile Android rendering
We fixed several Android display bugs, including input text not centering vertically, text and button labels disappearing at low line-spacing values, bottom-aligned elements getting overlapped by the native navigation bar, and Short List styles rendering with both gap spacing and separators applied at once.
Table cell cleanup
We fixed a bug where table cell elements could get stranded outside their table and couldn't be deleted.
Mobile workflow reliability
We fixed ghost workflows left behind after app syncs, client-side errors in live published apps after a new build, and temporary workflow action failures right after an OTA deployment.
Mobile authentication
We fixed a bug in BubbleGo and published mobile apps that could prevent you from logging in, signing up, or signing out. The same bug also caused an "offline" banner to appear even when the device had a working internet connection.
Mobile app crashes
We fixed a crash that prevented apps from opening in BubbleGo on some iOS and Android devices.
Mobile plugin and purchase fixes
We fixed the component file going missing from GitHub sync for mobile-compatible plugins, and clarified the error shown when an incorrect bundle ID is entered during Apple in-app purchase setup.
Duplicate accounts after OAuth changes
We fixed a bug where deleting an API Connector OAuth integration could cause existing accounts created through that integration to go unrecognized, resulting in duplicate accounts or failed magic login emails.
Custom development branches
We fixed a bug where custom development branches weren't carrying over when you made a local copy of an app.
Domain release after app deletion
We fixed a bug where custom domains weren't released for reuse after an app was deleted.
JULY 15, 2026
Features
Create and modify reusable elements with AI Agent
The AI Agent can now build and modify reusable elements directly from your instructions, helping you scale your app's design system faster without manual setup.
AI Agent: Read-only access to app data
The AI Agent can now read your app's data on the dev branch, making it easier to debug issues or confirm a fix actually worked instead of guessing from the schema alone.
AI Agent: Speech-to-text prompting
The AI Agent now supports speech-to-text, so you can speak your prompt instead of typing it and watch it stream in as editable text in your preferred language.
AI Agent: Backend workflow generation
The AI Agent can now create, edit, reorder, and remove backend workflows, including scheduled, database-triggered, and API-accessible workflows, so you can build and iterate on complex backend logic without configuring each one by hand.
AI Image generation for everyone
We removed the feature flag restricting AI image generation, so every Bubble user can start creating images with AI right away, no early access request required.
Smarter AI-generated apps
App generation now uses the AI Agent's tools during app creation, producing more capable and complete apps right from the start and reducing the manual work needed afterward.
AI Agent is beta-aware
The AI Agent now tailors its guidance to the editor version you're actually using, whether you're on the standard UI or testing a beta feature, so you get accurate answers that match what you see on screen.
AI Agent can edit existing API Connector calls
AI Agent can now modify API collections and calls you've already set up, not just create new ones.
AI Agent: Smarter plugin recommendations
AI Agent now includes direct links to the correct plugin marketplace pages and proactively suggests relevant plugins when you describe a capability you need, like SMS, payments, or maps, even without asking about plugins by name.
AI Agent self-checks its UI edits
AI Agent now automatically verifies visual changes with a screenshot, catching issues like overlapping elements, cut-off text, and contrast problems before completing your request.
New expression operators
We added :convert to list for basic data types and :index of for finding an item's position within a list, giving you more flexibility when building workflows and expressions.
Property editor usability improvements
We added a close icon to the property editor and updated it so clicking outside the canvas now selects the page instead of closing the panel, moved the "BBCode applies" setting to the Visual > Configure section, and set icon color to default to a static value in conditionals. These are small changes that make the editor easier to navigate and configure.
Property editor: opt-out beta
We launched the opt-out beta for the new property editor, so you can explore it while keeping the option to switch back to the previous experience at your own pace.
Page title label update
We renamed "Title tag" to "Page title" in the Interaction > SEO section, so the setting is easier to recognize without needing to know SEO terminology.
Clearer security dashboard guidance
We redesigned the issue sidebar in the Security Dashboard with a clearer layout, "How to fix" guidance, embedded video walkthroughs, and an improved ignore/unignore control, giving you a faster path to resolving app issues.
Disable backend workflows without deleting them
You can now pause a backend workflow and re-enable it later, so you can test and debug without losing your setup.
Bug fixes
AI Agent reliability
We improved how the AI Agent handles errors and stalls, reducing the chance of it getting stuck or failing silently so you can trust the results of your agent workflows.
API response field mapping
We fixed bugs where adding a new field to an API or plugin response could break repeating groups or unmap existing List of Objects fields, so you can update your integrations without losing existing data bindings.
XML API response parsing
We fixed a bug where some XML API responses returned only an attribute value instead of the actual content, so you can reliably use every field in your app.
Property editor display accuracy
We fixed several bugs causing the property editor to show incorrect states: auto-crop-around-face throwing an error, border style falsely displaying as "None" under conditionals, and empty Position fields appearing pre-selected in the Issue Checker.
Date and timezone formatting
We fixed missing timezone override options for the :rounded down to, :formatted as, and extract from date operators in the new expression editor.
Editor UI polish
We fixed dark mode styling in the rich text editor and an error message that wasn't displaying correctly, resolved dropdown clipping in Safari popovers, stopped workflow (+) icons from flickering on hover, and fixed missing elements in the Debugger's Inspect dropdown.
Changelog and log filters
We fixed the changelog date filter shifting dates by a day in UTC+ timezones, and made server log filters persist across tab navigation.
Privacy rule undo
We fixed a bug preventing undo from reversing changes to a data type's privacy rules.
Legacy property editor plan restriction
We fixed a false warning blocking paid-plan users from setting recurring events to yearly frequency.
Mobile app bar fixes
We fixed multiple app bars appearing on a single page, leading buttons overlapping trailing buttons, and the app bar losing transparency over gradient or image backgrounds on iOS.
Mobile multiline input fixes
We fixed multiline inputs failing to wrap Japanese text and certain fonts correctly on iOS, and fixed fixed-height multiline inputs that couldn't be scrolled in live apps and BubbleGo.
Mobile layout and preview accuracy
We fixed incorrect top margins on copy/pasted row-group items, the tab bar overlapping content after device rotation, and web preview breaking for view titles containing special characters.
Android font rendering
We fixed fonts with weight 700 or higher, and in some cases any selected font, falling back to the default system font on Android instead of rendering as designed.
Section list grouping
We fixed a bug where section lists using a page property as their data source with grouping applied failed to load any data, so grouped SectionLists now display correctly in web preview and BubbleGo.
Mobile OTA reliability
We fixed OTA updates not applying to published apps, and workflow actions temporarily failing right after an OTA deploy on custom domains without SSL.
Mobile selectable list accuracy
We fixed multi-select selectable lists removing the wrong item from unselected choices, causing selections to track incorrectly.
Mobile plugin compatibility messaging
We fixed user-made plugins using modern JavaScript patterns showing "No plugin found" in BubbleGo, and added a clearer error message to help you diagnose the issue.
Login redirect fix
We fixed some accounts getting stuck on the "What do you want to build?" page after logging in.
Search and real-time data reliability
We fixed intermittent errors affecting searches and real-time updates for some apps.
Privacy rule constraint settings
Privacy rules now include a Constraint setting that controls which fields you can use as search constraints, separate from View. The Security Dashboard flags fields whose Constraint setting may need a second look and walks you through updating it.
JULY 1, 2026
Features
AI Agent plugin awareness
The AI Agent can now read your app's plugin data and the marketplace, giving it a more complete understanding of your app's setup and capabilities so it can make smarter, more accurate suggestions.
AI Agent global expressions
The AI Agent now supports global expressions, so you can reference and generate them across your app's context and workflow logic for more consistent automations with less manual setup.
AI Agent API connections
The AI Agent can now create new API calls and collections directly, wiring in dynamic variables, pulling in third-party API docs, auto-redacting tokens and secrets, and taking you straight to the API collection when it's done. This collapses one of the steepest parts of the Bubble learning curve into a single request.
AI Agent chat improvements
Workflow references in AI Agent responses are now clickable chips with event-type icons, and expressions render as clear, clickable UI instead of plain text, so you can jump straight to the workflow or logic being discussed.
AI Agent chat copy action
We added a copy action to both your messages and the AI Agent's replies in chat, so you can quickly reuse a response without manually selecting text.
AI Agent accuracy
The AI Agent now retrieves your app's context using hybrid keyword and semantic search instead of raw app data, resulting in fewer hallucinations and more accurate edits.
AI-generated expressions
We added a Generate option to dynamic expression composers, letting you create expressions with AI directly from the composer instead of writing them by hand.
Global expression usage tracking
Global expressions now show everywhere they're used across your editor, with click-through navigation to each usage, so you can manage changes with confidence.
Deploy modal test visibility
The Deploy modal now shows your remaining security test count once you have three or fewer left, and disables the Run Security Test button once you're out, so you know where you stand before deploying.
App icon uploader
We added a file uploader for app icons, so you can set and update your app's icon directly in the editor without external tools.
Mobile element filtering
The elements panel now correctly filters to show only elements compatible with the platform you're building for, so you're not distracted by options that don't apply.
Agency client feedback
Agencies can now collect and manage client satisfaction feedback directly in Bubble instead of a third-party tool.
Scroll to element
You can now select the current page as a target in the Scroll to element action, making it easy to scroll back to the top without a workaround.
Property editor clarity
We repositioned the Display name field (with a new explanatory tooltip) and renamed Title tag  to Page title  in page SEO settings, so the most-used fields come first and labels are easier to understand at a glance.
Bug fixes
Editor crash fix
We fixed a bug where loading large apps could crash the editor with an out-of-memory error, so you can reliably open and edit big apps.
AI Agent plan accuracy
We fixed an issue with how AI-generated plans were evaluated and displayed, so steps now appear in the correct order and invalid plans are properly rejected.
API Connector and JSON parsing reliability:
We fixed several issues affecting the API Connector and JSON parsing: UNIX timestamp date fields being mis-typed, plugin elements returning blank raw JSON, dynamic JSON body values disappearing after edits, adding or updating API parameters breaking existing calls, and reinitializing an API call breaking elements that use it as a type of content. Your integrations and data mappings should now hold up as you iterate on them.
Property editor fixes
We resolved a wide batch of property editor issues, including:
  • Safari cutting off operator values
  • The Visual tab disappearing after setting dynamic background colors or chart data sources
  • Missing Dynamic time zone options
  • Incorrect default colors and property ordering on plugin elements
  • Search constraints losing values after undo
  • Popovers appearing above the Deploy modal
  • Tooltips covering the elements list
  • Truncated workflow labels
  • Selectable lists missing default values
  • Link parameters showing for external URLs
  • Undoing a search configuration unexpectedly reverting to an older editor design
  • An unwanted line appearing under THEN in reusable element conditionals
  • Styling options on reusable element instances causing rendering errors
  • Empty Position properties appearing to have a selected value
Plugin action fields
We fixed a bug where key/value fields in plugin actions didn't allow you to combine static text and dynamic expressions in the same entry, so you can now mix hardcoded values and dynamic data freely.
False error indicators
We fixed optional plugin fields in actions like Track an event with Segment(Server) and Create a Stripe Coupon incorrectly displaying as errors, and restored the ability to create new segment event names directly in the first action.
Agency plan billing clarity
We removed a misleading checkbox from the Agency plan confirmation pop-up that implied an extra per-app charge was being created.
Data tab and debugger fixes
We fixed the bulk workflow progress bar filling from the middle instead of left to right, and resolved a bug where debug mode was causing significant slowness across apps.
Templates and content display
We fixed incomplete "designed by" text and a missing divider in the templates tab, and fixed BBCode unordered lists showing without bullets in the editor (they displayed correctly in preview and run mode).
Reusable element workflows
We fixed an error that prevented deleting certain workflows inside reusable elements.
Mobile app fixes
We fixed signup and login breaking when changing your app scheme, corrected a top app bar and safe area alignment issue on the canvas, and fixed private files failing to load on Android.
Bubble Is Global profile claim
We fixed a bug where "Claim your profile" in the Bubble Is Global email sent you to the map instead of your profile claim page.
Custom domain management
We fixed several issues preventing domains from being deleted, released, or reassigned between apps, including secure share URLs failing to generate for private files in Live.
