Mobile App Pricing: Everything You Need to Know Before October 1

We're excited to open up Bubble’s native mobile app capabilities to a public beta, empowering builders everywhere to build and scale apps for iOS and Android without code.

As part of this new chapter, we're introducing pricing specifically designed for our mobile functionality that will go into effect on October 1, 2025. This blog post summarizes what’s changing and when, so you can plan ahead, explore freely for the next few months, and choose the option that fits your build goals once mobile plans go live.

What builders get between now and October 1

We think having native mobile apps on Bubble is a game-changing release. We’re still shipping features and fixing bugs, but we wanted to get it in your hands as soon as possible and make it easy start learning your way around and building great things. So between now and October 1, we’re giving everyone the ability to deploy mobile apps at no additional cost. This is your chance to try out the native mobile builder with:

  • Access to native mobile build features: It’s always free to learn and build on Bubble. Explore Bubble's intuitive native mobile app builder, native mobile elements, and streamlined mobile publication process to the app stores.
  • Continuation of standard charges: Existing charges still apply for existing web app plans and any workload tiers or overages.
  • No extra charge to add a mobile app to an existing project: During the initial beta period, you can build a mobile version of any web app on a paid plan and launch it at no additional cost. This means, for now, you can publish web and mobile apps for the price of one web app, and expand your reach without increasing costs outside of any additional workload consumption. To launch a new standalone mobile app, you’ll need to choose one of our existing paid plans (Starter, Growth, Team, or Enterprise).

We encourage you to take this time to get real hands-on experience with mobile development on Bubble so you can make an informed decision about which plan works best for your goals.

What’s coming this fall: How mobile pricing will work

We know pricing changes can raise questions, especially when you're planning for your app’s future.

Starting October 1, 2025, launching mobile apps on Bubble will require a plan that includes mobile capabilities. Whether you're focused on web, mobile, or both, we’ve designed flexible options to fit the way you build:

  • Web-only: Launch and scale responsive web apps with Bubble’s core features.
  • Mobile-only:  Access multiple live versions, app store publishing, and build allotments designed for native mobile app development.
  • Web + mobile: Get everything in both plans to build seamless, cross-platform apps from one place.

Keep in mind: Plans are purchased at a project level, not an account level. If you have web and mobile apps in separate projects (without a shared backend), you’ll need a paid plan for each one (web-only plan for the web app and mobile-only plan for the mobile app). But if you’re building a single project that includes both a web and mobile app with a shared backend, you’ll want a web + mobile plan.

Here's a quick look at the anticipated pricing of each starting October 1, 2025:

A table titled "New Annual Pricing Plans" for Bubble, with prices listed as web-only, mobile-only, or web+mobile

Why is the mobile-only plan more expensive?

Delivering a seamless no-code experience for native mobile requires a few more layers of complexity (and cost) behind the scenes — including more infrastructure, engineering, and publishing support. The slightly higher cost helps us make sure you get a smooth, reliable experience when building for iOS and Android.

How to make the switch by October 1

If you have a deployed native mobile app in your account this fall, you’ll need to choose a plan that includes mobile capabilities by October 1 to make sure it stays live going forward.

  • For most Bubblers: We’ll send reminders via email and in-app messages to guide you through selecting your plan. Be sure to opt in before the deadline to avoid any service interruptions.
  • For Enterprise and Dedicated customers: Your account manager will be in touch directly to help you explore tailored plan options based on your app’s unique needs.

Help shape the future of mobile app building on Bubble

Your input during the coming months will directly influence how we refine the mobile experience.  The projects you build and the insights you share help us improve the experience, prioritize updates, and make sure Bubble truly meets your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: How many apps and builds can I use between now and October 1?

A: We want you to feel free to explore and test as much as you need during the beta. You’ll have generous access to build apps so you can truly get hands-on experience.

If there are any specific limits, we’ll make sure to communicate them clearly and in advance so there won’t be any surprises.

Q: Will my app be live after October 1 if I don’t opt in?

A: To keep your mobile apps live and accessible after October 1, you’ll need to choose a plan that includes mobile capabilities.

If you don’t opt in by then, your mobile apps will revert back to a Free plan. This means:

  • Existing live versions will no longer be supported, so users will no longer be able to access your mobile apps.
  • You will not be able to deploy updates to your mobile apps.

Live versions will remain stored for 30 days after the downgrade, after which it may be permanently deleted unless you upgrade. We’ll send reminders and support along the way to help you through the process and avoid any interruptions.
