What advice would you give to someone hoping to join Bubble? Try and build something on Bubble! Let the product impress you. It’s important to be enthusiastic about the product you work with, and Bubble really is a very astounding tool.

Do you have a user or Bubble app that you enjoy working with? Honestly, all of our users are super cool! They’re creating amazing things, and are a pleasure to work with. I don’t think I can pick a fave!

What’s something most people don’t know about you? I went through a pretty significant goth phase in my teenage years, and angsty symphonic metal music still has a soft spot in my heart. I often blast it through my headphones when the office is noisy and I need to focus.

Do you have a favorite activity/place/thing about New York? I love taking the Q to work from Brooklyn. The view when the train goes over the Manhattan bridge takes my breath away every day.

With the (season) coming up, what do you like to do most in this weather? I’m Russian — cold weather is my everything! I love holiday markets, drinking mulled cider, and bundling up in ~10 cozy, soft layers.

Favorite concert/music event you’ve attended so far? I’m a huge fan of this singer/songwriter named Vienna Teng — I’ve been listening to her music consistently since I discovered her when I was 14. The summer after I graduated college, she was touring on the East Coast, and played a small show outside of Boston; I pulled money together for a hotel room, drove the 5 hours to get out there, and went to the concert by myself. It was an extremely cathartic experience (I 100% cried), and I’ve been catching her shows at every opportunity ever since.
