Guide to Submitting, Reviewing, and Approving Templates in the Bubble Marketplace

Submitting a template to the Bubble marketplace is a multi-step process that includes understanding and meeting submission requirements, navigating the review process, and following up on post-approval actions. Below is a comprehensive guide to assist you:

Submission Requirements

Before submitting your template, ensure it meets the following standards:

  1. Complete Seller Profile: Ensure your Bubble Seller Profile is fully completed.

  2. Responsiveness: Verify that the template is fully responsive, allowing it to adapt to different screen sizes and devices.

  3. Feature Functionality: Confirm all features in the template work as intended.

  4. Run Mode Settings: Make sure the 'Limit access to the app in run mode with a username and password' setting is not enabled.

  5. Live Database Content: Ensure the Live database contains only test data; no user data should be present. Example and demo domains (e.g., @example or @demo) are acceptable.

Review Process

Our team reviews submitted templates on a first-come-first-serve basis. On average, most submitted templates are reviewed within one to two weeks of submission, though you may experience longer wait times depending on volume. During the review process, the following steps are taken:

  • Checking that your Seller Profile is fully completed.

  • Ensuring the template is responsive and all features work as intended.

  • Confirming the 'Limit access to the app in run mode with a username and password' setting is disabled.

  • Verifying the Live database contains only test data.

Common Reasons for Rejection

If your template is rejected, it may be because of one or more issues such as:

  • User data present in the Live database. Always use dummy or test data, and example/demo domains are recommended.

  • The 'Limit access to the app in run mode with a username and password' setting is enabled. Ensure this is disabled before submission. After addressing the issues mentioned above, you can resubmit your template for review.

Post-Approval Actions

Once your template is approved, it will be made available in the Bubble marketplace for users. This allows Bubble users to browse and utilize your template within the Bubble ecosystem.
