Bubble respects user privacy and provides procedures for users to request deletion of their personal data. The process varies depending on whether you are a registered Bubble account holder or a user whose data resides in a Bubble-powered application. Below, we outline the steps for both scenarios.
Data Deletion for Bubble Account Holders
If you are a registered Bubble user and have an account that you use to create Bubble apps, follow these steps to request deletion of your personal data:
Submit a Request: Contact Bubble directly and specify your desire to have your personal data erased.
Data Deletion Timeline: Once verified and confirmed, Bubble will delete your account and all associated personal data from their systems. Personal data is also purged from backups within 25 days of account deletion.
Note: you have 48 hours to recover your account.
Data Deletion for Non-Account Holders
If you do not have a registered Bubble account but have shared data with a Bubble application (e.g., as a user of an app built on Bubble), Bubble cannot directly process your data deletion request. Instead, follow these steps:
Identify the App Owner: Contact the owner of the Bubble application where your data is stored. The app owner acts as the "data controller" and is responsible for managing your data deletion.
Request Deletion: Inform the app owner of your request to delete your personal data. They will handle your request in accordance with their privacy policy and applicable data protection regulations.
